Closing Accounts and Refunds
Students, faculty, and staff that voluntarily added additional King Kash dollars in addition to those attached to a meal plan or part of an apartment package, may request a refund of the remaining King Kash balance of $25.00 or more when they are no longer affiliated with the University, by completing a King Kash refund request form.
Written request forms must be submitted to the Business Office, Methodist University, 5400 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311. Proof of withdrawal or dismissal for students is required. Only balances equal to $25.00 or more of voluntary additions will be refunded. Checks will be mailed to the permanent address as indicated on the student record or employee file.
Inactive Accounts
King Kash accounts showing no cardholder activity after 12 months will be closed and funds residing in the account will be forfeited.
Report lost/stolen Cards
Report lost/stolen cards immediately to Campus Security or the Dining Facility Office located in the Berns Student Center. Suspend the card immediately by clicking the Deactivate Card link on this website. The University’s liability limit for unauthorized use on lost/stolen cards is $25.00.
